What blood cults have a God that required their son's blood in a sacrifice to enable them to forgive?
Q. I have heard of a cult in which they have a God that is all "powerful " but only the blood of a human sacrifice could enable this God to forgive, because he could not brake his own rule. All powerful but the blood of his son in a sacrifice-execution could only work to forgive. What blood cults have this type of God?

A. I take Enalapril Maleate . Ten MG. a day. Bp went from 150/90 tyo 118/68...But there is a catch to this. I started to exercise 1 hour and 30 min. a day . Nordic Walking. And this is what I think really lowered my BP. Cause before I was taking 5 mg. and nothing was getting better. I have no side effects. I pay 3 1/2 cents a 5 mg. pill. I live in Thailand. Try the exercise bit. I do it everyday : Rain or Shine. How are high blood pressure and exercise connected? Regular physical activity makes your heart stronger. A stronger heart can pump more blood with less effort. If your heart can work less to pump, the force on your arteries decreases, lowering your blood pressure. Becoming more active can lower your systolic blood pressure the… [cont.]

How long can a person have blood infection?
Q. The reason I ask is that i would basically like to know if it is possible for an infection to enter the system even if it was mild, and how long bacteria would be in the blood? I had two infections in one go, both treated with antibiotics, I was still feeling ill so I had some blood tests including Full Blood Count and Blood Cultures among other tests, the tests all came back perfectly clear. But I have been getting worse and I am now getting told that it is all psychological. However, I would like to know how long a person can have blood infection/sepsis? Would having had antibiotics mask the test results?

A. Very good questions. I cannot answer them, I am sorry, but I will advise that you get a second opinion from someone other than the one who told you it was in your head. A blood infection is very serious, and can be difficult to diagnose as well. Get yourself to another doctor ASAP, and tell them your worries. Doctors are not omnipotent, but they do have egos, and they don't like being challenged in their diagnoses, so maybe that's where the "in your head" business came from. They tend to stick to diagnosing and treating the usual, common maladies, so you need to be proactive. Just keep being a pest til you get treatment that makes you feel better. Good luck and take care!

I am athletic and eat rather healthy compared to most teenagers. I rarely ever drink soda and never add salt to my food. What are some ways to lower my blood pressure? Eat more fruits and vegetables? A. It is good that you want to lower your blood pressure by exercise. Yes, it will lower it by exercise. I have a family history of High Blood Pressure and heart disease. I have to watch my diet and exercise. I don't exercise that much, neither does my dad, but he is also on blood pressure medication, he noticed in a week. I am not on medication, but I also practice deep breathing and I lower mine within that time frame. I don't exercise as much, only when I feel like it. I try. My Blood pressure wasn't that high though. Mine use to be low, but went up because of some cold medication, we finally figured out what caused mine to go way up. Good for you for getting motivated. Q. How long do blood thinners usually take to clear a blood clot in the lungs?
Asked by Steven - Thu Jan 22 18:41:03 2009 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Blood thinners don't clear the clot. You're body does. The blood thinners just prevent the clot from getting any bigger. It can actually take quite a while for your body to break up the clot, but the patient usually leaves the hospital after their blood levels stabilize on oral anti-coagulants (blood thinners.)

A. There are so many things that can cause high BP, even in younger people. You should check your cholesterol. If they are both high that leads to different answers than if your cholesterol is low. There are many deficiencies that can cause high bp in people. You can be B deficient, and taking a B-complex everyday could lower it. You could be L-methionine deficient, and taking L-methionine along with B-complex everyday could lower it. You could be calcium deficient, or potassium deficient. Do you have any other symptoms? A. The make-up of dog blood is the same as human. You can study it and do smears, check levels of various parts just like human blood. And dogs have blood types too. But they are a differenct species so their blood cells are unique to them. The human body would reject the cells as foreign matter and vice- versa. This is why you cannot give dog blood to cats either. Good question !!

Asked by George B - Wed Oct 22 01:52:38 2008 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Cats have A, B and AB but they are not the same as the blood groups in humans by the same name. Dogs have dozens of blood groups, but they're not all incompatable with each other. There are two main groups which are though, and you can get dogs that lack both of those antigens. Cattle and horses also have many blood groups. Equine hospitals don't bother matching blood for compatability though, they just use a universal donor. Cattle medicine doesn't cross match blood groups either, because you can get away with one transfusion that doesn't match without killing the cow. Pigs I ave totally forgotten. You can't safely transfer bood from one species to another, but there are a variety of synthetic fluids created which work in all… [cont.]

Can I donate white bloods cells less than two months after donating a pint of blood?
Q. I have a relative with leukemia who is in need of white blood cells. I am the proper blood type, so would like to offer to come down to donate, but I just gave a pint of blood on May 10. I think they typically say that you must wait 8 weeks between blood donations, but is it the same with white blood cells? From reading the description of the procedure, it sounds like you don't lose much blood, so it wouldn't seem like 8 weeks would be necessary for just the whites.

It's hard to believe that they can't get her BP under control. I'll give you my best answer on natural means for reducing BP, but I strongly recommend you find a hypertension specialist. The bloodpressureline Yahoo! group is a great resource, as well. It is run by a hypertension specialist who can help you to find someone in your local area. Any help on explaining this procedure would be great. I am talking about the blood typing necessary for a blood transfusion.

A. They blood type so that they can match the parentage of certain blood types. Mainly because it used to be so easy for folks to swap papers on horses. If you had a horse who matched the colour, approximate age, sex and markings on a horse who the horsetrader had and say died, they'd attach the papers to another horse and sell it as a "Registered" horse. I figured that part out back in the early 1970's when I knew a gray mare who's white markings you could see when she was wet didn't match the papers that were on her. I've even seen horses at auctions, where they have made the teeth match the age of a set of appaloosa papers. I spotted the teeth on horse and grabbed my old horsetrader buddy, Coral and drug her over to him. She took… [cont.]

How much should your blood sugar levels fall by when doing exercise?
Q. Hi, during sport i often faint or get very lightheaded, my doctor thinks it may be due to a sudden drop in blood sugar levels. The other day my blood sugar levels dropped from 7.3 mmol/L to 4.4 mmol/L within 20 minutes of exercise. Is this bad or normal? How much should your blood sugar levels fall by when doing exercise? Thanks in advance.

A. It is not guaranteed that glucose levels will fall during exercise. some people's glucose will fall and some people's will rise. faintness and lightheadedness can also be caused by blood pressures changing.

How does the blood in the tissues of the human body return to the heart?
Q. If a pinprick is made in, for example, a fingertip, blood is found there. But there are no arteries or veins there, What is the path by which the blood returns to the heart from say, a fingertip?
Asked by seismic111542 - Fri Sep 5 19:39:38 2008 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments

A. In between all of your arteries and veins are capillaries. Basically your arteries branch off and get smaller and smaller until it is so small that you have blood in between a wall of two cells. Those are your capillaries. Then your capillaries start branching together again to form your veins. Your arteries, veins, and capillaries are collectively known as your blood vessels. When you cut yourself and bleed, it is because you've cut into the capillaries (assuming of course you haven't cut a vein or artery). In fact, if you get slapped and you notice your skin turn red, it's because the force of the blow caused the capillaries beneath your skin to burst. The same is true when you get a bruise.
