How does an aging parent that lives with a traditional family affect the whole family?
Q. How is the dynamic of a nuclear family changed when an aging parent lives with the family? How is it changed when the aging parent needs special care and attention from their children, who are raising families of their own in the same household?

To the ladies, which anti aging products actually work from your experiences?
Q. I heard many times that some anti aging products don't work as well as the companies claimed them to be. Which affordable brands (like Loreal, Olay, Garnier, etc) of anti aging products actually work from your experiences? I have wrinkles under my eyes and on my forehead that I need to get rid of.

A. i haven't used them but my mom, who is 49, uses Artistry Time Defiance products. they are a little more expensive then the drug store brands but they're definitely worth their value! And Artistry also has a 100% guarantee of satisfaction. : )

How would a 24 year old start an anti-aging regime?
Q. I do not think I am old at all, but I was told that beginning to care for my skin now will reduce signs of aging 10 or so years down the line. But, most anti-aging creams/regimes are marketed for people who are already in the more advanced aging process. Any recommendations on some natural things remedies or good reliable skin products for someone my age trying to prepare for wrinkles and such? Thanks!

What is the right age to start using anti-aging creams?
Q. I am 21 and the only sort of special care I take towards my skin besides washing it daily is applying SPF 50 Sunscreen. I recently read that under eye cream is important for the 20's. Is this true? What is the right age to start applying anti-aging creams? What are some good eye/face creams for 20 year olds? Oh and I think I have fine lines under my eyes--not sure if it's a major issue or just looking to closely in the mirror.

A. 30+ or when you start seeing the first signs of wrinkles i guess. you are 21. you should not worry about that. just continue taking care of your skin by cleaning it, avoiding foundation that clogs your pores, and using your sunscreen. enjoy your youthful skin good luck! :-)

How can I turn off aging for certain Sims in Sims 3 but not for others?
Q. The aging on/off cheat code doesn't work I know how to stop everyone from aging, I just want 2 of my sims not to age and all the other ones to
Asked by greendaygalzie - Wed Jul 8 09:48:18 2009 - - 6 Answers - 0 Comments
A. Unfortunately there isn't a cheat to age one person. But you can age your sims manually. 1. Have aging off 2. Buy the birthday cake from a) The store b) in buy mode inside the outside activities (the football) 3. Have a birthday!!! - have a party 'cause you'll get a moodlet - I think it give +40 for a day or so... Hadipal's response also works. It's probably easier to do so.

These are probably the best way to look and feel younger. It will change your body just as if they were anti aging hormones. A. It's so nice of you to want to buy your Mom a good anti-aging/anti wrinkle cream. I think buying a cream or surface treatment is so much better than getting surgery or using Botox. When I select my anti-aging products, I tend to look for a few things: 1) are there proven results? 2) can I get a trial or sample (so I know it will work before I spend a lot of money) 3) are the results as good as Botox or even better? (I want to get really great results without the pain or hassle) 4) decide what you want to focus on treating (age spots, wrinkles, sagginess- or all of the above) 5) decide how often you want to apply the treatment and how long it should take (I don't like to sit around for hours- I want something I can use quickly and… [cont.]

A. You should do a Google Search "Skin harming ingredients in skin products" and you will see there are many of them in some of the most widely used and well known products. That is why many are now buying non harmful products. You can find those with another search "safe, non harming skin products" and refine search by adding "low cost and available in stores " to your search. And if you buy sunblocks higher than spf 30 they will clog pores and can result in skin irritation and so are not good to use. Spf 30 provides adequate protection if applied as frequently as recommended. Many are also using natural products like essential oils which are non harming better moisturizers than any moisturizer products. They are cheaper and beneficial to… [cont.]

A. That's a great idea! I wish I had thought of that when I was 15 (I'm 20 now). You really should start when you're about 18, making sure that you're mature, but there's no reason you can't do a little bit. First thing: healthy diet. Drink lots of water and some teas (try decaffeinated). Try green and white teas, they're filled with antioxidants. Stay away from coffee and soda, and try to find substitutes for meat and dairy products (obviously you don't have to become vegetarian or vegan, but a lot of those lifestyles are healthier). Make sure you're getting the proper servings of fruits, veggies, whole grains, etc. every day. Work out, but wash your face afterwards. Sweat will clog pores and cause breakouts. A. You might want to consider a mineral makeup as mineral powder settles over lines, not into them. I am in my forties but no one has guessed my age since using kms mineral essentials. It is a great oil absorber when teamed with the mineral veil and provides a flawless looking complexion. It contains zinc oxide which has healing properties so it is a good choice for those who have acne or rosacea. It is a pure cosmetic with built in sunscreen so you would be doing something great for your skin. Kms is not yet available in stores but you can purchase their products online.

Q. I am 24 and I am concerned about wrinkles and all the other fun stuff that comes with aging. A. Use moisturiser every day before you go to sleep. Keep going with the sunblock, eat really fresh food so your body doesn't have to work hard to digest it (making chemicals that age you) and drink water. Also try to maintain a healthy weight.

Your goal is to achieve HGH levels that are considered optimal for a healthy 35 year old...regardless of your own chronologic age. Levels ABOVE that norm may not be healthy, so don't get carried away. Intense aerobic activity and anaerobic activity stimulates HGH production. Another safe do-it-yourself approach is using some combination of DHEA (less than 100 mg / day) and stacked amino acid supplementation. These are "precursors" to HGH.… [cont.]
